The Need
Brigantia identified a need for a high speed, low latency, quality of service-enabled broadband service for their new office.
The business anticipated being able to have fibre delivered in time for their move to new offices in Scotland. However following a site survey by BT Openreach, they were presented with an Excess Construction Charge (ECC) quote of £73,000. The high cost of the fibre installation was excessive for their business.
Brigantia therefore needed to find a cost effective fibre alternative, that would still deliver on their needs for speed, low latency, and quality of service .
The Solution
After being referred to us by one of our Dealers, a detailed site survey was performed, by one of our mobile experts at Brigantia’s new premises, to confirm their requirements and determine the most suitable edge installation option to meet their need.
Given the proximity of Fibre To The Cabinet (FTTC) and acceptable LTE performance, we recommended Cloudcell EQ Titan with two FTTC (Fibre To The Cabinet) DSLs and one LTE connection, bonded together using our SDWAN technology, to achieve the high bandwidth, low latency, quality of service enabled, resilient connection required by the business, without the excessive costs of installing a traditional fibre service.
