OVERVIEW
The Need
Redsquid’s client was experiencing connectivity issues at a new office building in Central London. BT fixed-line services had been promised, but after multiple delays the client was growing increasingly frustrated and, with new tenants due to arrive, simply couldn’t wait any longer. A robust, rapidly deployed temporary connection was urgently needed until ethernet went live with BT.
The solution needed to be put in over Christmas to be ready for new tenants early January.
The Solution
Cloudcell Technologies carried out a site survey at the built-up urban location and identified a robust solution that utilised a Dual Sim 5G connectivity solution to provide the customer with superior and resilient performance of 250mbps.
The location and layout of the building across 8 floors proved a particular challenge for the team, with multiple directional antennas needed to ensure a reliable connection across all areas of the building.
The solution was deployed over the Christmas period, meeting the customers challenging expectations for getting tenants in straight after the new-year and ultimately saving them a massive potential loss of revenue had they experienced any further connectivity delays.
